Tanya Vokey GIS Specialist Tanya joined Tamarack in 2007 after spending 7 years in Alberta. While there she authored maps for display products and for the inclusion in IMS, designed and maintained corporate RDBMS and maintained GIS for various major Oil & Gas clientele. With Tamarack, Tanya has worked at the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) developing and supporting GIS applications for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. She assisted in defining spatial data distribution service requirements and worked with departmental resources to build, document, and implement these services. Other companies/agencies that Tanya has worked/works with include Nalcor Energy, City of Fredericton NB, Dept of Natural Resources, Dept of Environment and Conservation and the Eastern School District. Tanya works closely with the client, understanding their GIS needs and the needs of their respective consumers of data/services. Tanya is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland where she studied Cartography and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and of Nortech College where she completed a post graduate diploma in GIS.
